What does the reported average mean?
The listing combines administrative, technical, engineering, supervisory and management roles. An average across those jobs cannot tell you what a particular technician or engineer should earn.
A separate Sadara Chemical Company listing on Bayt shows 40 entries and an average of SAR 13,246. The difference is a reason to check which dataset a salary claim uses. The pages do not establish that the samples are independent or that combining them would produce a better estimate.

The source does not consistently explain the reporting date, grade, experience level or whether each amount is basic salary or total compensation. Two entries with the same title may therefore describe substantially different jobs and packages.
Why your offer may differ from SAR 14,646
Start with the responsibilities of your role. Comparing a maintenance technician with a manager simply because both appear under Sadara gives you little useful information. Even similar titles may involve different levels of responsibility, working patterns and locations.
The public entries also do not establish direct employment or contractor status for every person. Check the legal employer named in your offer. A job based at a Sadara site should not automatically be compared with a direct Sadara employment package.
How to compare a Sadara job offer
Ask for a written breakdown, then check these items where they apply:
- Basic salary: identify the amount separately from the total package.
- Housing and transport: establish whether these are cash allowances or provided services, and how often they are paid.
- Shift or site payments: ask when they apply rather than assuming they accompany an industrial role.

- Insurance, leave and other benefits: compare the actual terms that matter to you.
